About me

Currently a computer science student and work-study developer, I am building my career at the intersection of two worlds: the technicality of code and the social complexity of the city.

My skills in full-stack development (acquired at CLR Labs and my previous apprenticeship at DGFiP) give me the tools to analyze data; my passion for urban planning gives me the "why".

Whether mapping an RER network for Aix-Marseille or developing routing tools (SMP Maps), I always seek to understand how to optimize flows to improve the user experience. I am convinced that the smart city must not only be "connected", but livable, inclusive, and deeply human-centric.

My influences

Jane Jacobs

Jane JacobsUrbanist

New York urbanist who opposed the car-centric approach and defended mixed neighborhoods against urban segregation favored by Robert Moses. Visionary author of 'The Death and Life of Great American Cities'.

Vienna

ViennaCity

Urban model of well-being and quality of life. I visited in 2021 and was impressed by its public transport system and green spaces. The city is very pleasant in all aspects, down to the immaculate architecture.

Barcelona

BarcelonaCity

A masterclass in density. From the Gothic Quarter to Cerdà's Eixample, I am inspired by the superblock strategy that reclaims street space for pedestrians, a model for retrofitting car-centric cities.

Marseille

MarseilleCity

My home city, I grew up in its periphery. Even if I never lived there directly, I see its ordered chaos and resilience not just as flaws, but as a unique urban identity that requires sensitive, adapted, context-specific planning solutions. The resilience of its people and the ordered chaos it projects are a strength to me.

Stromae

StromaeArtist

Committed, creative, visionary and inspiring artist. Through music, he denounces discrimination (Bâtard, Fils de joie) and talks about sensitive, taboo subjects like depression (L'enfer).

Cities: Skylines

Cities: SkylinesVideo game

Complete urban simulation that served as my introduction to traffic hierarchy and zoning logic. A sandbox for participatory planning and infrastructure design.

Minecraft

MinecraftVideo game

Free creativity and building of cities and transport networks. More abstract, it requires deeper research and many trial-and-error attempts to fully master. More abstract than traditional tools, it requires research and iterative prototyping to create functional transit systems (as seen in my "SMP Maps" project!).

Free and collaborative knowledge, an inexhaustible source of information and learning. A well of knowledge that inspires my philosophy of free knowledge sharing.

Lyon

LyonCity

Second or third city of France depending on how you count, Lyon is an example to follow for many cities. I was impressed by the quantity and variety of transit options, with 4 metro lines (one rack railway), two funiculars, and a dense, extensive tram network!

Prague

PragueCity

I visited this city with breathtaking architecture in 2025. Moving around is very simple: metro and especially tram networks are extensive, and the historic center is compact and pleasant to walk. The building facades, appearing new, offer an immaculate image of the city.
